Thanks for the Honeymoon
Good episode. Enjoyed it.
Fine job all around.
My wife had to remind me who Patty Duke was. And I didn't know she was Sean Astin's mom. Looked a bit like him (or should that be vice-versa

).
Loved the goofy old "hit-man" and his attempt to case the joint. You'd never suspect.
Good albeit bit predictable final scene.
BOOK 'EM
EDIT: Double-Episode day!
The Listener file was corrupted. Could not watch.
Here Today... Gone Tonight was also very good.
Had me going throughout. How’d he do that? Twins? What’s going on.
I had the idea someone different was in the helicopter but no… flying circles. Very good and enjoyed the reveal.
Thanks for the Honeymoon - yep, great episode! Patty Duke was very good in her part, Carol Lawrence plays McG's one-time flame, Lane Bradford as the gangster King Manola. I agree that the goofy old guy working for Manola was a nice touch, casing the joint (wasn't it the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore?) and complaining about the hippies in Waikiki.

I'm not sure I'd call him a hitman though. Just a stooge working for Manola. The episode is very similar to season 1's "Deathwatch" (one of my favorites from that season) where McG has to protect a racketeer in a hotel so he can testify against his boss in court. In the end in both episodes the boss thinks the witness against him is dead but then McG pulls a surprise by revealing he/she is alive and ready to testify.
The Listener - oh man, that sucks! Of all the ones to be corrupted. You're missing out on a classic with this one! See if you can track this one down somehow. If you don't mind spending $2.99 you can buy this one episode and view it on Amazon.
Here Today... Gone Tonight - love it! Yes, it's far-fetched and most likely improbable but I love the labyrinthine plot and the elaborate setup the killer puts together to commit the perfect crime. It's almost like something out of COLUMBO! I know Mike Quigley hates this episode because it's too far-fetched for him. I think he calls it "sci-fi" or something. But I love all that stuff. You almost expect Wo Fat to pull off something like this. Don't they even mention Wo Fat in this one? This is appearance #3 for Monte Markham.
