Your top 10 is confusing to say the least. You have "The Two-Faced Corpse" and "Ring of Life" in there, which as I recall you did not like at all. On the other hand, where is "Bomb, Bomb", "We Hang Our Own", "Right Grave-Wrong Body", "A Gun for McGarrett", "Study in Rage", all of which you said you enjoyed?
Also I'm not sure if these are in any kind of order. Or just random.
Computer Killer I’ll Kill ‘Em Again Welcome to our Branch office The Hostage
The Two-Faced Corpse
A Woman’s Work is With a Gun Small Witness, Large Crime The Young Assassins Diary of a Gun
Ring of Life
In bold are the ones I really liked that stayed very clear in my memory.
Then I struggled with the others and started going through the IMDb season 7 page just trying to complete the list.
Then kinda just plugged them in.
You can be confident in the eight though (and the top 4).
I told you I didn't like the pressure.
You just picked 2 random episodes from season 7 IMDB list? Hmm... how about just going back over your reviews and see which episodes you liked?
1. I'll Kill 'Em Again
2. The Young Assassins
3. Bomb, Bomb, Who's Got the Bomb?
4. Computer Killer
5. A Gun for McGarrett
6. Study in Rage
7. A Woman's Work is With a Gun
8. A Hawaiian Nightmare
9. Hit Gun for Sale
10. The Hostage
11. Small Witness, Large Crime
12. Welcome to Our Branch Office
13. Presenting... in the Center Ring... Murder
14. We Hang Our Own
15. Right Grave -- Wrong Body
16. How to Steal a Masterpiece
17. Diary of a Gun
18. 6,000 Deadly Tickets
19. Hara-Kiri: Murder
20. Ring of Life
21. Bones of Contention
22. Steal Now -- Pay Later
23. The Two-Faced Corpse

Current mood:
KILL IVAN.
Picked my 8... scrolled through and picked last 2 I thought I liked as 9 and 10.
Bamboo cage me already. Get it over with.
No more lists. Too much scrutiny.
Knocking my rubber chicken or my sloppy habits is within the rules, but you're attacking my character. I would like to think you don't mean that.

Had mixed feelings about this one at first.
There were long drawn out pockets of boring.
Yep, you pretty much nailed it with those 2 sentences. It's definitely a better episode than I originally thought. But it does have those long pockets of "boring", especially in the first half. There's that lengthy ship to ship transfer that McGarrett does early in the episode, no doubt to showcase the heavy involvement of the Navy in the filming of this episode. And while this may be pretty impressive (to involve the Navy and have Jack Lord do all this cool Navy stuff) it does tend to drag and you just want them to get on with the story and dispense with all the Navy regulations/procedurals. But the second half definitely picks up as we find out about the hypnosis and the whole Manchurian Candidate angle, similar to TC in the Ivan episode... ahem, my episode. The whole deal with that sinister hospital and what goes on there was cool and creepy. Putting the pieces together. Another fine score by Morton Stevens to kick off the new season!
Was 15 minutes in (before I realized it was a two parter) and thinking "what the heck?".
I don't know what yours looks like but on the DVD it's presented as one long 2-hour episode. In reruns of course it was split into parts 1 & 2.

Was a single file.
After 15 minutes of nothing happening had the thought this must be 2 parter and checked and it was indeed.

From the break-out to the plane crash to the guard being offed to the struggles between McGarrett and mob boss Charlie Bombay to the final hit.
Good episode finished with a cool Shaka at the end.
MPI: Jack Hogan, Moe Keale
My favorite episode of the season!! This one has a really cool jungle trek vibe to it. I love the rainy and damp feel of the rainforest. Bruce Broughton's score is very atmospheric and foreboding. Charley Bombay is back! Charles Cioffi does a good job as Bombay, even if he's not as memorable as Albert Paulsen who played the character back in season 2's "Just Lucky, I Guess". Paulsen was outstanding and slimy in the part!! Cioffi is more subdued and not as animated. But he's got more girth and heft to him which makes him more of a physical threat to McGarrett as opposed to the skinny Paulsen. That might be a reason why they cast him for this one and didn't bring back Paulsen. Or maybe Paulsen was just unavailable.
Top marks for this one!! Still, it can't touch the best of season 7 - "I'll Kill 'Em Again".
"The Look" - very good "Operation: Silent Night" - very good "Jororo Farewell" - pretty good "The Case of the Red Faced Thespian" - my least favorite of the 4, too silly for my well-honed tastes

And my season 4 MPI progress:
"The Look" - very good "Operation: Silent Night" - very good "Jororo Farewell" - pretty good "The Case of the Red Faced Thespian" - my least favorite of the 4, too silly for my well-honed tastes
Good progress.
Yeah, Thespian not the greatest.
Heading to Florida this week so no episodes. Will resume Monday.

Oh man, that sucks! He was the last surviving member of the original cast. Now everybody is gone.
While Harrington’s time on H50 was relatively brief, I thought he was a welcome presence who could display a subtle wit. Ben even got a legitimately iconic character—and series—moment at the end of I’m a Family Crook—Don’t Shoot!

Are you talking about him flashing a smile to the Lovejoys after they "find" the money in the car? It's a nice ending tag for sure but calling it "iconic" is pushing it I think. Sadly Ben didn't get any iconic moments.
