Magnum PI gets love on Joe Rogan's podcast
On Joe Rogan's latest podcast, #1467 with former Navy SEAL and author Jack Carr, Jack mentions how much he loved Magnum and talks about "Did You See the Sunrise". A good interview over all, but Magnum is referenced around the 1:22 spot.

Awesome. I love Rogan, but I tend to only spend the time when I know the guest. (I skip pretty much all the MMA episodes).
I'll listen to this one though. Thanks Conch!

I agree . . . I'll admit to finding Rogan pretty late, I was never into the podcast thing, but I dove in hard. The MMA stuff I pass over as well, but the long form conversations with guys like Jordan Peterson, Randall Carlson, Graham Hancock, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Dan Carlin, Ben Shapiro, Kevin Hart . . . just to name a few . . . recently Tim Pool . . . all really interesting.Styles Bitchley wrote:Awesome. Thank you for sharing. Jack Carr is a HUGE Magnum, PI fan. He's stated on several occasions that TM influenced him to become a Navy SEAL in real life. If you're on social media, give Carr a follow. https://www.instagram.com/jackcarrusa He often posts Magnum, PI related content: https://www.instagram.com/p/CKokzdGrsqO/ And yes...there are several references to Magnum, PI in his novels. Don't wait...grab you a copy of The Terminal List and enjoy.ConchRepublican wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 4:48 pm On Joe Rogan's latest podcast, #1467 with former Navy SEAL and author Jack Carr, Jack mentions how much he loved Magnum and talks about "Did You See the Sunrise". Re: Magnum PI gets love on Joe Rogan's podcast
I do not know much about Joe Rogan other he seems to have a conservative podcast (no time for podcasts in my life) and was or is a MMA fighter. However this made me smile and groan:

Exactly what I would expect. Also of note the linked video is now "private" which I would also expect from Google. It is from Twitter that I found on https://notthebee.com/ which is a fine website in my opinion.

Let's not get political, as these discussions always end badly. I will, however, point out that Rogan may seem conservative from some of the things he has said, but he's all over the map politically and often super liberal. I'm a pretty liberal guy (at least in Gen-X sense of the word) and I find his podcast immensely entertaining and super reasonable. Check out the recent one he did with Dave Chappelle. If you're into Dave (and who isn't??) it's extremely enjoyable.80s Big Hair wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 3:37 am I do not know much about Joe Rogan other he seems to have a conservative podcast (no time for podcasts in my life) and was or is a MMA fighter. Re: Magnum PI gets love on Joe Rogan's podcast
Oh, and the reason the video is now private is that Rogan signed an exclusive contract with Spotify for all of his content. So that's the only place to find his podcast anymore.

Agreed. Rogan does an excellent job of bringing people with different viewpoints and experiences together.Styles Bitchley wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 3:20 pmLet's not get political, as these discussions always end badly.
