Hawaii State Police?

#1 Post by 80s Big Hair »

While watching Laura (7.18) I noticed Lt. Nolan Page getting out of a car marked "State," presumably for State Police. Of course he works for the Honolulu Police Department. That is well established throughout the show. In fact there is no Hawaii State Police as driving between islands is a rather difficult endeavor. What gives?

Yes, Hawaii Five-O as a state police was fictional too. Maybe they were keeping up the Five-O references made on the show in the past? It could also be a car from the department of corrections? There is a state prison system.

Dennis Becker... err... Nolan Page should have just pulled up in McGarrett's Mercury Marquis Brougham. Would have been sweeeeet! :D
