Never too late to correct a Jay error.ConchRepublican wrote:Ugh .... I shoulda been paying more attention to this thread, Jay has no place here. My bad but too late to correct.

Knocking my rubber chicken or my sloppy habits is within the rules, but you're attacking my character. I would like to think you don't mean that.

$1,000 for a ticket to the dinner, Conch. You can purchase it through your business and perhaps even rub shoulders with some future clients, heck, you might even sell products to the Blue Bloods folks or come up with a logo for Tom's avocado ranch.....terryfromkerry wrote:https://pagesix.com/2020/02/11/tom-sell ... for-media/

Re: The Tom Selleck Thread
I just saw that new member 80s Big Hair (welcome!
) just posted The Chinese Typewriter (thanks!). I've been meaning to post this... it's "Bunco", the failed pilot with TS & Robert Urich from 1977. Maybe some of you have seen it but I hadn't so thought I'd post it... something else to watch for those of us who are hunkered down in our homes.
Enjoy everyone!

All I could think of while watching this was I was so glad it wasn't picked up. Vegas and Spencer For Hire were a better fit for Ulrich and of course, I would have hated to have never seen Selleck in Magnum, P.I. .......Thank you for the great find, RG!

Re: The Tom Selleck Thread
I'd never heard about TS being in a car accident when he was 16 so thought I'd share...
Valley Times, June 14, 1961

Based on the article, here's where I think the accident may have occurred:

Interesting when trying to Google map his childhood home's address, it skips a few houses and we can't see a direct view of the front of his house:

Here are some real estate listing pics of his home...

Great research there. Are you a subscriber to newspapers.com? I am, and you find all kinds of amazing stuff on there.
I wonder if “Try to Remember” brought back, uh, memories for Selleck of that time he actually did go over a cliff.

Thanks K Hale. Yes, I have a newspapers.com subscription too. Me thinks you are searching for John Hillerman only?K Hale wrote:Great research there. Are you a subscriber to newspapers.com? I am, and you find all kinds of amazing stuff on there.
