Collecting together the background music?

Magnum has a lot of really nice background music; is there any official way to get it, or has anyone unofficially tried to collect together the themes from different episodes? I came across this one from "Billy Joe Bob" where someone tried to do that, and thought it seemed like a nice effort.

Have you checked overseas sources? I have noticed that Europe and Japan produces a lot of music collections from American movies and TV shows.
Sometimes just the music of one particular TV episode from a series as you describe. Germany's Bear Records is always worth looking into. It's multi CD package
of Bonanza music came with a little brown envelope that had printed on the outside "a gift from Hop Sing", containing rice! Oh those madcap Germans.
Of course that was 20 years ago.
Music from various I Spy episodes was released on a single CD, a very nice effort which I own. 77 Sunset Strip and M-Squad as well. Every episode of Route 66,
under the direction of the immortal Nelson Riddle, had a completely new sound track, that would make great road trip music.
Is there a particular episode of Magnum whose theme/soundtrack you really enjoy?
Infinity and Jelly Doughnuts is probably my favorite.
When Joe Cocker sings
"I've lived to see the sun break through the Dawn,
I'm so glad I'm standing here today."
the moment is just perfect and sums up Magnum finally putting the war behind him. He is redeemed. There is a strong theological bent to this episode, the imagery
is quite striking. There is so much in the subtext going on you really have to pay attention, and the perfectly chosen music enhances all.

I know I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I am kicking myself for not visiting that site before. Thanks for linking it and a tip of the hat -ConchRepublican wrote:J.J. collected a lot of cool audio here . . .

Sybil: They all said, at one time or another, how on Earth did the two of us ever get together. "Black magic," my mother said.
Basil: Well, she'd know, wouldn't she? Her and that cat.
