Frank Thornton was in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum with Phil Silvers. Silvers was in a Charley's Angels episode with James Gammon who was in The Sacketts with Tom Selleck. Gammon was in a ton of stuff with Selleck.MagnumsLeftShoulder wrote:Next up:
Link Frank Thornton to Magnum. If anyone gets this one I will happily, for a month, police up The Lads leavings on the grounds of Robins Nest.
Hi MagnumsLeftShoulder,
Excellent catch, I tip my hat. But there is a shorter link. Frank Thornton was in Are You Being Served with Arthur English, who appeared in
the Deja Vu episode of Magnum. English was a bit player but you can link most any British star thru him.
Next Up: Woody Herman.

TM: Do you think I'm different?
Diana: Why do guys always want to know if they're different?
TM: No, I don't mean different from other guys.

"Next Up: Woody Herman"
This was a tough one to link to Magnum. Actor/musician Med Flory was a saxophonist in Woody Herman's band. He later appeared in the
Elmo Ziller story in Magnum PI. He was one of those character actors you have seen a million times but never know the name of.
Next Up: Jane Fonda

I'm sure there are shorter connections from others on here, but quickest to mind:Luther's nephew Dobie wrote: Next Up: Jane Fonda
Jane Fonda was in Walk on the Wild Side with Laurence Harvey, who was in The Manchurian Candidate with Angela Lansbury.
Have we done Woody Strode yet?

Woody Strode was in "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" with John Wayne who was in "McLintock!" with Jack Kruschen who was in the Magnum episode
"Laura".
NEXT UP: Rosey Grier
(PS - Chris 109, where you been Red Ryder, Magnum Mania was always elevated by your wit)
