Saw it within the last year on COZI TV, I think it was. I agree, it was pretty good.K Hale wrote:Blast from the past: 1974 episode of Kojak with John Hillerman guest starring as (per usual) the villain! He plays a lawyer setting up a guy to be killed. Pretty good!

Wow!...Any idea what year the picture was taken? Looks like very early in his career....maybe the early Seventies.

Early seventies, I think. I’m most curious about that dog. I want to think she’s his, but more likely she belonged to the photographer.KingKC wrote:K Hale wrote:New acquisition!

A 1984 photo of JH with his sisters Joann (left) and Rosemary, and brother-in-law Lennie Tritico! I've never seen a photo of his sisters before, what beautiful ladies.

Great find, I wonder if they are still amongst the pre-deceased......K Hale wrote:A 1984 photo of JH with his sisters Joann (left) and Rosemary, and brother-in-law Lennie Tritico! I've never seen a photo of his sisters before, what beautiful ladies.
Re: The John Hillerman Thread
I checked, and turns out both ladies' names are misspelled on the photo caption. Rose Mary passed away in 2008 and is buried in Oklahoma City. Jo Ann is still living -- she's on Facebook and I sent her a friend request some time ago but I don't think she's active on it now. I did friend her son Chris Tritico who's a cool guy who does legal segments on a local news station in addition to being a lawyer.Steve wrote:Great find, I wonder if they are still amongst the pre-deceased......K Hale wrote:A 1984 photo of JH with his sisters Joann (left) and Rosemary, and brother-in-law Lennie Tritico! Re: The John Hillerman Thread
Thank you K Hale for sharing these pictures with all of us.

Re: The John Hillerman Thread
Here is a clip from the 1970 film "They Call Me Mr. Tibbs," starring Sidney Poitier as a San Francisco police lieutenant. This was John Hillerman's very first appearance on film! Fresh from 13 years of East Coast stage acting, he landed this tiny uncredited role, a few seconds long, in which he had just one line. Here he is, only 38 years old, in his film debut! Don't blink, you'll miss him! https://vimeo.com/345036746
