Cool, thanks for posting those pics golf! Another nice touch from the producers of Las Vegas!

I guess this means A.J. won't turn out to be Thomas Magnum, however. Bummer. :(

SL,

You didn't miss it in the first few minutes. It was actually in the second basketball game, and the Montecito guys were the "skins" (no shirts) in the first round. This second round didn't come until about 19 minutes into the show, if I recall what the timeline on my TiVo was showing when I recorded that scene.

I think it's really great that whatever "powers that be" for the show do something like that, without bringing it to anyone's attention -- just hoping people will notice. I think, perhaps, those same PTB know they may have gotten a new audience just because of TS (I, for one, never watched the show before) and by doing little things like this for us to spot, they'll keep us watching.

I don't know if the show has actually gotten better or I'm just learning the characters that I didn't care about AT ALL when I started watching this season. For the most part, I still don't really much care about them, not the way we would feel for TC, Rick, or Higgins, but did we "care" about them the first year MPI was on? I tend to think not, as it took years for us to learn their good points and value them all by faithful viewing. We've been following these clowns for only about six months. However, the manicurist who I thought initially was entertaining is just grating to me now. I still think Delinda is a total ditz (and close to as annoying as the Cassie Yates, etc., other characters from MPI), and all of them are about as self-centered and egocentric as it is possible to be. I like the Danny/Mike friendship and like that the writers haven't made Mike resentful of Danny's being promoted. But perhaps it's just my advanced age, but I find them all pretty immature. Perhaps that is contributed to by what they have to do to "succeed" in their positions -- keeping rich people happy and spending money. Not exactly a "saving the world or the environment" mission in life, is it? But that may all be perfectly accurate for Las Vegas. I guess that's why, after Orlando (which is DEAD LAST), that's the next LAST place I'd want to spend a vacation. The only redeeming feature for either place, as far as I'm concerned, is the golf courses, and that's not much of a draw because even those are ridiculously expensive. Yes, we go to Hawaii and play golf there almost every day, but we do NOT play the most expensive courses and we almost always try to get the "twilight" (reduced) rates -- when both of us play, high greens fees add up fast.

Anyway, I don't dread watching LV now, and I do look forward to it each week -- but that says more about the lack of anything else watchable on TV and not LV's draw, if you know what I mean.

Why is Danny lying on his back on the court, with his eyes closed and a smile on his face? Did he take an elbow to the head, or something?

Danny was on the ground stretching before their second game. By the way, I read that the plans were for the last couple of episodes and the seaon final to answer some of the mysteries surrounding Cooper. Of course, I also read that they are having to abridge some of the final episodes due to the writers strike.I am hoping they bring back Larry and Roger for another appearance (or two or ten!)

That tshirt is hysterical! Thanks for pointing it out. Makes you wonder who's idea it was, and what the reaction on set was to it. I loved that Larry was wearing the team ring, when Roger and him were on. What fun, someone has a good sense of humor.

I just started watching Vegas, because Tom joined the cast. Have to say I am really enjoying the show.
Trying to reach my full snail potential.

Not earth shattering but a tidbit about MPI.

A cat named M.T. was TM's head of security (bodyguard) for the 8 years of filming.

He and his wife are living in ***********

Poor Tom Selleck must be the most insecure person financially in the celebrity world! Just heard him on an RV'ing commercial!

Sheesh!

Anyone out there who missed Tom on The Breakfast Club, 98.1 WOGL
Philadelphia, can listen to his interview on their website.
He talked about Magnum PI, and how he had some good ideas for a Magnum PI movie. I wish it would work out for all of us.
I thought it was funny how he told everybody to make sure they watched
the new reality show NBC puts in place of Las Vegas.
