Just read that John Hillerman passed away today, 11-9-17 at age 84.

This is just so sad! Watching the re-runs, tapes, dvd's, it like they don't get any older! He's been a part of my life, longer than many of the people I know! RIP "Higgins".

RIP, John.
Not only one of the great characters in Magnum PI, but one of the great characters of TV in general. A brilliant decision to cast him as Higgins. Nobody else could have brought so much to the role.

Thank goodness for DVD and video. John Hillerman, you man have passed on, but for all of us, you will live for ever.
