Weaver was a welcome presence in every role I've ever seen him in. He was particularly good in a couple of Mission: Impossible episodes that are among my favorites.
He also, imho, mopped the floor with Selleck actingwise in their big scene together in Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii.
Fritz Weaver was a superb actor.
