Just because Selleck appeared in the tv series Taxi does not count, he did not appear with Lassie on the episode when she guest starred.

It's not good enough to have been in the same TV series, by that standard everyone has been on the Tonight Show or The Late Show . . . If it's a guest star on a TV series they must share the same episode, or it's a double link.

Judd Hirsh was in the Taxi episode Memories of Car 804: part 2 with Tom Selleck
Tom Selleck starred with The Lads on Magnum PI
