I did a search but didn't find a thread about this show. Kinda surprising, as I think this was a very good show from the 80s, although it's questionable if it has aged well. A couple of days ago I caught the last half of this episode where Naomi was going to stewardess school (still called that in the 80s). Everyone had their hopes up for going to Hawaii for free, but Naomi flunked the final test. At the end where they fade out to the front of Mama's house Mama said: "The closest this family will get to Hawaii is watching Magnum PI."

Course, almost anything with Carol Burnett and Vicki Lawrence together is going to be funny.

Don't watch the show regularly, but have caught a couple episodes over the years.

"Me TV" has it in their lineup. Probably on other stations as well.
