Why did Esquire channel stop showing Magnum P.I.?

Why did Esquire channel stop showing Magnum P.I.? They we're showing the episodes in chronological order, but stopped about a month ago in beginning of season 8.

Wondering the same thing myself.

They "played" with programming and scheduling a few times, changing when they'd start a block of shows, then how many they showed, then what day it was on, then sticking it between other shows, then....poof.....it was just gone.

It was the only channel we get that it was being shown on, so now it's back to the dvd's for me, which I don't mind at all, but it does make one wonder. They seem to still be showing Miami Vice, though again, they have changed when, how often and how many. Burn notice appears to have replaced Magnum in the line up.

A curiosity to be sure.

It would make you believe that they were monitoring the viewer reaction and didn't see what they wanted in regards to MPI?

No accounting for taste I guess.

Anyway, you can get your MPI "fix" here anytime! Lots of good folks who know just about everything there is to know about the "Magnaverse", and all things associated with it.
