Merry Christmas everyone. Just started watching "A Christmas Story." TBS's 24-hour marathon just started. I think Darren McGavin did MPI's "Mad Buck Gibson" just before this movie. Already watched "A Charlie Brown Christmas" (my Wife's favorite); "Christmas With The Kranks" and "Christmas Vacation." Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.
The answer is obvious, old man. Logic is irrelevant. It's simply Tropical Madness. (J.Q. Higgins)
Merry Christmas from the MGI contingent. Here we "jones" on "White Christmas," "Christmas in Connecticut," "Holiday Inn," "Holiday," and "Remember the Night."
I just miss Larry -- he's working tonight, as he has been for the last four nights, so, though productive (I got lots done while by myself), the last few days have been kind of lonely for me. But at least he comes home every night -- only after I've gone to sleep.
But at least he's here when I wake up.
Hope Santa is nice to everyone and brings each and every one of you some Magnum PI memoribilia! (I'm getting safety glasses to use with all my projects.)
On Christmas we celebrate Jesus Christ's birth, when God chose to enter the space, time, energy and matter that He created to become flesh, like us. He was born in a poor family so that the reality of His love for us could be experienced by all. For 33 years those living around him could observe him, touch him, hug him, learn from him, be healed by him, or reject him. Sadly many chose to ignore the prophecies that told of his coming. They hoped for a ruler with an iron hand, not a gentle heart. Sometimes we can be so full of ourselves that we fail to see, or accept the obvious.
May this Christmas be the most exciting and meaningful one that you and your loved ones will ever have. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life."
That gift gets better with time and lasts forever.
