Season 8 available to order
Hi Gang,
I just noticed that season 8 is now on Amazon.com and is available for pre-order.
It's scheduled to be released on 3/4/08.
Happy Holidays

This doesn't have to do with Season 8, but I was in Best Buy today and I noticed that Season 7 was selling for $39.99, but Seasons 1 through 6 were selling for $44.99. Not that it really matters, but I am curious to know why Season 7 is less expensive than seasons 1-6?
Anyone know why?

The answer is obvious, old man. Logic is irrelevant. It's simply Tropical Madness. (J.Q. Higgins)
Hey IH,
Best Buy tends to sell their new releases at a discount, much like Media Play (when it was in existance) did.
Give it a month or two and I'm sure it'll be up to $44.99.
OR, maybe they're already incorporating the $5.00 off coupon that they are sure us Magnumites will invoke!
(I'm going to go with the former, though)

I really enjoy your MPI "customer reviews" at Amazon grundle. They are very nicely done. Keep up the good work.grundle wrote:And that's my customer review at amazon!

I would if I could, but there are no more seasons for me to review!

Yeah, I really enjoyed grundle's reviews. I often used them as a quick reference when I first starting collecting the dvds (ie. "Okay, which one was...").
It's also worth noting that Amazon's product description (usually taken from the dvd cover) confirms that Limbo will contain the "alternate ending" of the syndicated version. This really sounds like it will be a nice set.
