Who needs Netflix when you have youtube?

For all non-episode specific topics about the show, including MPI-related "tie-ins"

Who needs Netflix when you have youtube?

#1 Post by No need to know! »

I just found a hell of a lot of Magnum episodes there.
Sure i have every season on DVD, but sometimes it´s easy to get stuck on youtube, and this guy have uploaded the episodes without the intro and ending music. That was actually quite smart since i often skip the intro anyway atleast when i watch several episodes in a row. And even though i usually like to watch the series in the right order it was quite entertainig to jump between episodes from different seasons.
I hope it will inspire more people to buy the DVD´s in the end.

I took the time to post 6 clips from MPI on Youtube and those micromanaging bastards running that site removed three of them with no explanation. It still annoys me. You can view endless violence on Youtube, even executions but they take pleasure in deleting harmless "clips" of an 80s TV show.

I've found lots of Magnum and Simon & Simon promos there so it's been worthwhile to me. Too bad the DVDs didn't include the commercial bumpers for MPI, with Tom doing the voiceover iirc which I have yet to find at the 'Tube. I know Jameson Parker and Gerald McRaney did ones for their show, and in character! Here's one---and it's from the station I watched MPI on (WTVJ-Miami). Powerful nostalgia!
