Renee,

I think it's not "OUR" Selleck:

This exceptional 4.8 acre pinot noir vineyard is planted on a rocky south/southwest facing slope. With its great sun exposure this vineyard yields our most concentrated fruit, albeit in tiny quantities, generally only slightly more than one ton to the acre. The vineyard was planted in 1975 and is named after Dr. George Selleck, a friend of Josh's father who introduced Josh to his first fine wines.
Wines from the Selleck Vineyard are usually the most complex and dense of the four single-vineyard pinot noirs made by Calera. Magnificently perfumed, full of the classic Burgundian entangled mysteries of cherry and plum, wild raspberry and blackberry, toast and cinnamon spice. The flavors are deep, with black fruits, spice and mint all present in these rich, full-bodied wines. The Selleck Vineyard is rockier and contains more limestone than the others; its wine seems to have the greatest aging potential.

From avocados to a country club. LA Biz Observed notes that:

David Murdock, the octogenarian billionaire and health enthusiast who owns Westlake Village-based Dole Food, unloaded Sherwood [Country Club in Thousand Oaks] over the summer for $20 million. Buyers are a group of Sherwood's members, including Tom Selleck.

Is that the country club where Tiger Woods was playing this weekend? I watched a bit of him playing at a course in Thousand Oaks, California (which is where Westlake Village is).

I wondered if Mr. Selleck might be there. I really have too much Selleck/Magnum on my mind.

I think you're right RC. I didn't see it, but a friend of mine told me he saw Tom Selleck interviewed at the tournament.
The answer is obvious, old man. Logic is irrelevant. It's simply Tropical Madness. (J.Q. Higgins)

Yes it is. The info about the sale of the club was at the end of an article that started off with:

... during this weekend's Target World Challenge at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, ... With Tiger Woods hosting - and leading - the event ...

Okay, I HAVE IN HAND the Cigar Aficianado magazine! I happened to spot it on a coffee table in a reception room at my office. I have no idea where it came from, but I snatched it.

The actual article is much longer than the profile previously linked to here. I'll try to get it scanned and uploaded somewhere where James can get it and give us all access to it. The problem is the magazine is an odd size -- 9" x 11.75" -- so it doesn't scan very well to an 8.5x11 scanner. I could do it to a 11x17 spreadsheet size but that scanner isn't a color scanner for the pictures. Also, the magazine is bound like a paperback book, so it's hard to get it to lie flat on the scanner.

I'll figure something out and get it uploaded or to James as soon as I can.
