TS was on Letterman last.

Didn't talk about MPI at all, other than showing a picture of himself, LM and Sinatra from "Laura", and mentioning that Sinatra told LM he wanted to be on the show and to have TS call him. LM gave TS the number and when he called him, he told TS not to worry about paying him, he'd do it for free as he just wanted to be on the show, but they could cover his "expenses", which Selleck said were $300,00! :magnum: Not sure if he was joking or not, but mentioned that there was a private jet involved among other things.

No mention of a movie, mosty talked about BlueBloods, Tom's new dog "Uma" and avacodo's. He "awarded" Tom a prize of $100 gift certificate to a NY steakhouse for correctly remembering how many times he had appeared on Dave's show wearing a moustache....9! :magnum:

Interesting to me that his voice seemed more "normal" or like we are used to hearing it in Magnum as opposed to the very deep with "gutteral" quality he seems to use in BB and/or Jesse Stone mode. Like I said, just a bit of trivia, that's subject to my personal interpretation.

Always nice to see him though. He looks and sound in good health, and let's face it, when you get right down to it, that's really the only things we have of any value, other than......time. :magnum:

The Sinatra expenses story has been told and written by Larry so it must be true. It's good to see Tom back on Letterman as for the last few years it seems as though he has been relegated to the after Leno/Letterman shows and the Regis/Kelly/Michael type shows...
