OT -- Happy Thanksgiving, all!

#1 Post by golfmobile »

Hope everyone has lots to eat and lots of holiday cheer today! Was there ever a MPI show centered around Thanksgiving? I can't remember one. I remember the "Silent Night" helicopter crash Christmas theme one, and wasn't the estate decorated for Christmas in "Thank Heaven for Little Girls . . . ."?

Any other holiday episodes?

Indeed! ........I'm not sure about any Thanksgiving episodes, but I always thought that if there was, there should be a shot of Higgins at the head of a long table giving the toast (as only he can do) with a story of a past Thanksgiving celebrated during a war in some far off land with the usual list of his eccentric British mates. As he is pontificating, the shot pans back along the table with the lads on either side of him, then Agatha, Doc Ibold, Lt. Tanaka, Carol etc, etc. winding down to the far end of the table with Rick and T.C. Then the shot pans back farther with Magnum sitting at a too small "kids table" all scrunched up and squirming uncomfortably with his 6'4" frame.......Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!!

Hi all,

I don't think there was ever a "Thanksgiving" episode ever produced. If anything, the Magnum eps revolved around Christmas and the 4th of July.

No other holidays were ever expressly mentioned (or revolved around), as far as I know in the series.
