I can see that - well the Hughes would certainly be a good addition to your collection, but while it is hard to find, how about an Island Hopper Vanagon? That should be even more characteristic - after all, the stripe design WAS one of the possible Hughes designs, but the VW definitely had to be custom painted to match.

Definately the Vanagon would be a great addition. And from what I've seen of the model kits relating to MPI, it's the most accurate. The TC's chopper is completely wrong, and the Ferrari is loaded with mistakes.

In that case, a non - Magnum 'standard' Ferrari would probably be the model of choice. Though I agree, it's no fun if there are too many details, especially of a structural kind, to be altered.

Looks like a scam to me. Stick "Magnum P.I." on a police car and try to get fans to make a dumb bid. Of course, I'm not an expert toy collector.

Oops! I stand corrected. Looks like it's a "key car." Key sticks in the back and a spring propels the car forward. I remember these from back then. It's still a gimmick!

This looks like one of John's when viewed from straight on to me....maybe not, though...the cross seems to be concave when viewed from an angle.....thoughts?? Not a bad price.

I don't know! It looks like the ring I bought for $20 in 89-90!? The one Larry Manetti was selling! Anyone want to buy mine for $700.00?

I'm not sure, but I think the ring I bought in the Manetti ad, said it was made from the original mold! I really wouldn't sell mine, and I think the ring on ebay is the ring from the ad! $700.00 is a lot to ask for that ring! Too much!

It's my buddy's ring..it's not platted like the one Manetti use to sell..it's ACTUAL gold..10Kt yellow and it comes from the last season of the series mold and it's from RockNrobbie..so I KNOW it's from an original mold..not sure which season the Manetti one was made from..may or may not be the same mold..just that one is platted. So with the current gold prices and from where it came from..if I didnt have the EXACT same ring and had the money I'd be interested.
It made me do it Higgins!!!
