Incredible! Next year I am going to have to make a trip over the border and see that car of yours.............(Bet if you dressed like Simon Cowell or a Jersey Shore kid the folks under 40 would get it right away)

I did the same as you only I tried to create the stuff myself. I made the ring, wallet, license, hat and license plate. Bought a shirt, found a belt that looked close and threw on a pair of B&L WW2 pilots (actually my grandfathers). Glued the stache and I was ready to roll...literally. Drove a red Ferrari everywhere I could with the top off:-) It was great fun!

So, here is what I came up with.
Image
The hat didnt come in on time so I bought a cheap Yanks hat, de-stitched it and pasted on a Tigers emblem.
Team ring is stuck on over an existing gold ring I have
I made my own Magnum drivers license/private Investigator license. One side is drivers, one side is PI.
I also made my own wallet. Its out of paper with clear tape over it and black cloth tape seams. Actually has a clear license window made from an overhead sheet:-)
The Robin 1 plate was made and printed then mounted to chip-board to make firm.
I bought a stache and red Hawaiian shirt and used my beloved grandfathers WW2 pilots B&L sunglasses.
For a watch, I wore a Kingston (Rolex 6538 homage) on RAF strap. Magum would have approved I think. Sold my GMT years ago sadly.

For the car, it was the 328. Wonderful car. I LOVED driving it over the weekend. Great fun. Sure its not a 308 but its close enough:-)

Ok, here are my side-by-sides with Magnum. I only had a few minutes to take the pix so they arent perfect. Funny enough though.

All in all, i had fun. As a graphic designer I like to make my own stuff. Of course, most people had no idea how much detail I had but who cares, I knew. The few that actually got the connection of the Ferrari and the costume were blown away. The rest just thought I was showing off at work. Lame-Os!

I just copied and pasted a couple to see them. I like the idea of recreating the poses. Good stuff!

Not happening for me, I tried copying them too, and into several different programs, but no dice.

You have to copy and paste the images but leave out the (img) on each end. Great pics. Where did you get the 328?

Thanks JJ, I am having fun building up the collection, and Halloween just gave me an excuse to show it off. The shirt is back in the closet, and the cars in storage for the winter, no more Waynum Pi until spring.

Thanks. Thought recreating the poses would really bring it to life. Wish I had more time to perfect it. We were actually without power due to the snow storm that hit NJ over the weekend.

The 328 came from the Classic Car Club of Manhattan. I am a member of it so i can take out any of their fleet. I own a small collection of classics myself but it was just too tempting to be able to drive some cars that I am sure I wouldnt otherwise have a chance to. I had an NSX out the other week. I could get used to this:-)
