Taking Stock: Who's the Longest Participating Magnum Maniac?

I'm reminded of my childhood friend who made his Halloween candy last through the entire year, all the way to the next Halloween. That was a point of contention in our relationship because he'd hardly ever part with even a Tootsie Roll, but for Magnum I'm all for allowing weeks or a month or more for an episode to fully sink in before viewing the next one.

I would sometimes wait a month between new Magnum episodes from the DVDs, but other times only a week or so. In my opinion each episode can be more fully appreciated the longer one waits between episodes. Magnum P.I. is a very special show, and it's made more special the longer one waits. I have a confession to make too, I may have mentioned this before but I still haven't watched Resolutions on dvd, even though it was years ago that I saw the episode before it. I don't want it to end either.

That, my friend, is overkill! Mine never lasted more than a week or two max.

I'll sometimes do a few episodes in a row if the time is right: Nobody home, quiet day at home. But with two kids under five around the house, those days are few and far between.
