I've always wanted to be Magnum/Selleck. It's no wonder I wear Tiger hats and Hawaiian shirts. I haven't worn shorts like that since '86 though... ha ha ha!!! What man doesn't wish he could drive a red Ferrari and kiss Erin Grey?
I just don't give a damn!

Well, I am happy to say that as I get older I'm realizing I'm built a lot like Magnum. If I gained some more muscle and grew a 'stache I'd look like him! I have his hair and my face is similar but mine is a bit fatter because I'm still a kid. I even have (this is what I'm most proud of) a laugh like his! but I'll do anything do get the Magnum look!

Let me ask, does anyone know if they ever released a better DVD of Runaway after the lame 2000 release? Most DVDs released then aren't great quality-wise.

Maybe they should do a remastered version and put it on Blu-ray.

That would be cool! Lets hope they do that if they decide to make like a Michael Crichton Collection Blu Ray set or something

I think you need to insert the word "sex" in front of appeal in your sentence! I know men think of TS as an outstanding actor and probably don't think about how good looking he is. Women think of how good looking he is and then think about how outstanding he is at acting!! :D And I'm sure that TS would rather all people think of him as an outstanding actor and human and forget about the "sex appeal" part! JMHO, of course.

BTW, no offense was taken by this sentence:
Ah I see. you sound like my mother!
:D

oh oops! that's what I meant thanks for pointing that out! :D
Yes Tom Selleck is a great actor. He has this way of making even the worst-sounding lines sound completely natural. In fact, the only thing he could improve on is his British accent, but Higgins is good enough for both of them.

Good movie, although it looks like the fx people borrowed the robots from the movie "Silent Running".
I just don't give a damn!

Here it comes the "George Lucas Complex" again!.
Imho a movie should never be altered after its release.
Bad or good, it tells us something about the time it was made.
I can accept things like "Director's Cut", "Extended Edition" as long as the theatrical version is available.
But re-touching here and there or adding modern sp-fx is nonsense.
I don't like the idea of a remake in a particular way (remakes often suck), it all depends on how it is done.
But it will never be the original.

@BobBlusoe:
are you into CG? I am (not a pro though), I use Max.
"Zeus, Apollo, get out of my Ferrari!"
"Mr. Masters' Ferrari"

Ah yes, one of those rare actors whom women want, and men want to be.
"But Higgins, I can explain."
