Advice to those who intend to purchase Season DVDs

Stop watching Magnum in syndication - you may end up having what happened to me, I'm on season 4 and have already seen every episode on Disc 1! Not only that, but some of them aren't exactly the most enjoyable and yet I have to watch them twice...

I have so many of my favorite shows on DVD, and am so disgusted at the newly adopted habit of TV stations imposing commercials for other shows on top of the show that I'm watching, that I canceled my cable. And my TV is pre-HDTV, and I don't have one of those HDTV converter boxes, so I don't watch broadcast TV either.

I very much prefer watching TV shows on DVD as opposed to other ways of watching TV.
