She played Andrea in Out of Sync. She's the porn actress who thinks she's going to be in a snuff film.

She also starred in Prince of Darkness and An Officer and a Gentleman. She was 53.

She won an oscar a few years ago! I remember saying, "Isn't that the girl from Prince of Darkness?" She gave a pretty inspiring little speech about how she thought she'd reached the end of the road as an actress and then found a new life working behind the scenes.

That's just horrible news.

That is sad news! I didn't know she won an Oscar......

James the MPI Memorial list is getting bigger, that it warrants its own section on the home page (when you have the time). I can't keep track anymore.

Oh man, she was so hot in an episode of Moonlighting called Sleep talkin' Guy. She played a hooker who was sleeping with a guy from the mob, who talked in his sleep. David Addison found out and started paying her for inside info to start cracking cases.
Seemed clever and beautiful.
