Your movie 'wish list'

Some comments on the 'who should play Magnum' thread got me thinking. What other things would you like to see in the movie that aren't plot related or maybe not even essential, but would still be cool to have? Here is my 'wish list':

Detroit hat
Fig Newtons with milk
Coops and/or Old Duesseldorf
Chili Dogs
Team Ring
The Eve Anderson estate (I'll be pissed if they don't use it for Robin's Nest)

What else?

The Big Ones:

The Eve Anderson Estate as Robin's Nest
Main House & Guest House indoor sets that match the original show
The Ferrari 308 GTS
The Hughes 500D Chopper
The King Kamehameha Club (w/ Beach Bar)
The Team Ring
The "iconic" theme song
Robin Masters (voice only)
Include some of the major recurring characters (Carol, Tanaka, etc.)

The Minor Ones (which I'd love to see):

Everything Walt said, plus ...
The rubber chicken
The masks
The stache
Magnum's sax
River Kwai Bridge model
The Vanagon, the Jimmy, the Audi
Recreate some of the famous shots from the show (the look back, the snorkel shot, etc.)

I've always wondered how the Ferrari would be included, since the idea was that Magnum got to drive one of the most expensive cars available- for free.

Will they stick to that premise and update the model? Or will they include the original model and pass it off as Magnum driving one of Mr. Master's old favorites?

That's a good point, Shermy. It would make more sense for Robin Masters to have the latest model Ferrari. Maybe the GTS308 could have a cameo of some kind.

-Would be great to see magnum using again an slr camera with expenisive tele zoom lens (ofcourse borrowed from Robin Masters)
Maybe make it digital, since Robin Masters always had the latest stuff available.

-Magnum playing computer games

(crashing the system)

-The sunglasses (Pilot) They are still fashion these days.

-The Hawaii shirts. Would love to see his great red one again.

-The monkey face (It's still a funny thing to me)

And ofcourse, last but not least: the Rolex GMT Master cal. 16750 with pepsi bezel. Wonderful watch and to me an icon of Magnum pi.

A TALENTED screenwriter
A tone that doesn't play Magnum for laughs

I heard an interview i think it was on THS about TS and he said he would like the movie to be sort of an update on what the charachters are doing now. I think that is a great idea. I also know that TS is loyal so i am sure that he would have the original cast or nothing at all.

Never liked her, thought she was a selfish, manipulative blank,blank.
She used and abused Thomas, he deserved so much more.
