Yes, I was there for just such an occasion a few years ago - just a coincidence. I was able to go past the gate and down the drive, but showing up without a dog and looking the part of a tourist I stood out like a sore thumb. Someone gave me a knowing look that said 'I know why you're here and I get it, but please leave'. I didn't want to be rude, so I split. I'll post the photos I took here once I get around to it.[/quote]
I'm impatient to see your photos I haven't taken when I was there... one month ago; it's certainly the same guy i've seen when I was at the gate roadside.... he saw me ( with my Magnum shirt ) and made me a sign as "Hi" and I really regret to not have taken my chance to entry in the property... But you reassure me as he asked you to leave the place....
I think I'ld be in the same situation , in front of a guy asking me to leave...
I think this guy is a worker , trying to do the best to restaure this property quietly , without been annoying by Magnum P.I fans... by example....

As promised, here's a pic of my son and I crashing a dog show at Robin's Nest. Unfortunately, you can't see much of the house, but I decided I had gone far enough when I reached the inner gate.

"How fiendishly deceptive of you Magnum. I could have sworn I was hearing the emasculation of a large rodent."

Awesome picture Styles!
Pahonu has made some great additions to his 3D model of Robin's Nest/The Anderson Estate...

He is looking for some feedback on the model - mistakes, things missing, etc. The only way to do this is to view the model in Google Sketchup (free). If anyone is interested shoot me a PM and I will send you the .skp file.
Thanks

When i created arround 8 years back an identical 3D-model of the estate it took me weeks, but it looked nearly identical to that one.
