Spoken like a true 49er. I stand corrected.

Actually, Motherlode is a Canadian rock band. The gold vein, which was my metaphor, is spelled Mother Lode as I've just learned.
Of course this changes nothing between us. I still expect you to respect the rules and regulations pertaining to your stay on the estate. There will be no wild parties, no outragous liberties, no unauthorized overnight guests...

Doing the tour of Southern Ontario Walmarts, eh? I hope you're at least stocking up on cheap toilet paper on these MPI recon missions!

I'm not stocking up. As a qualified member of this site, I am far too anal retentive to have use for vast supplies of TP. Of course I did purchase a lifetime supply of Magnum print paper towels

Considering I just got to this thread today, I was more mollified by James' pointing out the actual mother lode of MPI items. Grant you, $15 DVD seasons are a close second -- I DO wish WalMart here in the states were selling them for that amount -- THEN I would buy them (if I could sneak them past Larry . . . . . ).

But as to spelling, SL, sometimes we just have to bite our tongues. I get in enough trouble on my own being the SGP (Spelling, Grammar, and Punctuation) Sheriff.

The more time goes by and the more elusive that actual MPI Mother Lode becomes, the luckier I feel that (1) I was able to see, handle, and photograph it at all; (2) that we here were all able to see such things exist and share the excitement of knowing about them; (3) that this site exists for all of us to share because without this site, "Michael" wouldn't have contacted James, James wouldn't have had had a way to let us all know things might be available and I never would have known to (or how to) contact the guy once Larry and I got to Oahu. Can you imagine how awful we ALL would feel if Michael had contacted James RIGHT AFTER Larry and I got back and we (meaning more "we here at the forum," not necessarily Larry and I) hadn't been able to verify the items? And we wouldn't have been able to find a way to verify them? That would have been bad timing! As it worked out, it was just LUCKY timing.

Am I saying all this right? Maybe not. I guess what I'm trying to express again is just another big "THANK YOU" to James for the site and how it allows us all to share so very much (even if it's only rejoicing to find $15 DVDs! AND sharing with other Canucks how and where THEY can get them too!). What a great bunch of folks this site draws!!

Here's the visual proof (and a test for my first image on this site).

My cards are on the table. I think my hand is straightening. Read 'em and weep. Still missing the high cards 7 and 8.

And just a footnote to Golf and SL. Never, ever be shy about correcting spelling on this forum. I think the majority of us appreciate it.
