A couple of my MPI (replica) props.

For all non-episode specific topics about the show, including MPI-related "tie-ins"

A couple of my MPI (replica) props.

I mentioned before that my wife got me a hat rack made for my birthday in February. It's a little lighter in color than TM's, but I like the grain pattern, so I thought I'd share a couple of photos, along with the just completed SEAL cap. Many thanks to Stephen (only looking) for all his help with that one!

Good work Mike! I still need the Da Nang hat. I also think your Al's hat looks a little better than mine. My guy made the patch too small.

Thanks, I appreciate that. For the record, that's one of Stephen's (only looking)Al's caps. My patches are a little flatter. As for the DaNang hat, try Footlocker. If your local mall has one, I bought the blue cap there for around $15. Bought the Danang patch from ebay. These replicas turned out really nice. It's been 20+ years in the making. Still working on the "Get Wet" caps. I have a source. 12 of them will cost around $230. That's including a $40 fee to have the screens made. The cap itself differs from TM's in that it has a velcro closure in back rather than the plastic snap closure that TM's had. I'm not financially able to have them made right now, but one day I will.

I eventually may try to get another patch and make another Al's hat. I lke mine but, as previousl stated, it is a little small. I think my SEAL hat turned out pretty good. If I ever get motivated I'll post pics.

Thanks James!
There's a couple of non MPI ones on there too. Once I get the USC, Get Wet, and Sherlock Holmes caps it'll be pretty much complete. I'm not too concerned with the plain caps he wore in later seasons. I still need to keep room for my own.
