Yep, you can tell by the little lion statuette on the grill.

Read all the comments! Are there a bunch of MM members really hanging out on Twitter with new screen names? Seems there are a LOT of Tom Selleck fans awaiting his return to - anything!!! WHEN is Grazer going to GET it?

P.S. Just checked some of the other pictures on the director's Twitter. Apparently, Ashton is the one who gets to drive the Ferrari. Interesting . . . .

The story of the Ferrari emblem as told by Enzo Ferrari:
"The story of the prancing horse is simple and fascinating. The horse was painted on the fuselage of the fighter plane flown by Francesco Baracca, a heroic Italian pilot who died on Mount Montello: the Italian ace of aces of the First World War.
In 1923, when I won the first Savio circuit, which was run in Ravenna, I met Count Enrico Baracca, the pilot's father, and subsequently his mother, Countess Paolina. One day she said to me, "Ferrari, why don't you put my son's prancing horse on your cars; it would bring you luck." I still have Baracca's photograph with the dedication by his parents, in which they entrusted the emblem to me. The horse was black and has remained so; I added the canary yellow background because it is the colour of Modena."

 :D

Shows ya how much EYE know about Ferraris!!

But after reading some of Kutcher's Twitter stuff . . . . with his sense of humor and sense of fun and a certain degree of humility and touch of the common man, what about him for a "modern-day" (current) Magnum if we have to have one? He seems to be the kind of guy who is still naively and innocently delighted that he's "made" it (it seems to be still FUN to him) -- rather like TS going from deodorant commercials to lead in a TV show. That seems to be the kind of attitude that would be needed -- not already established ego. Can't imagine him with a moustache, but his "envy" of it would, I think, make him take the role very seriously in recapturing what we all love about the show and the characters. I've never really thought about him much, and even though I saw "The Guardian" (the movie with him and Kevin Costner) which shows he CAN play a serious role and carry a leading role in a big budget move . . . . well, let's just say I'd rather have him than Matthew McConnaughy!

Does anyone else see what I mean? He just seems to be enthusiastic and excited about anything he does. Not the "me, me, me" kind of guy that so many "established" stars already are. No vanity, just joy in working in that particular field -- "I'm so lucky to be doing this!" Maybe I'm giving him too much credit when I don't really know anything at all about him. I just don't see a big ego in him. And that was TS when MPI started.

Hope that is right. I seem to be around two different groups of males, living in a large urban area, the ones under forty are definite "Metrosexuals" with the hair product that either flips the hair up in the front, or swoops into a mohawk type ridge running down the center and even sometimes (shudder) eye makeup (God how I hate Pete Wentz!). Then, there is the guys I see around my age at the Bike Rallies like Sturgis that have a shaved head and a goatee. Bring back the Fireman/hero look!!!!

Tom Selleck's Ultimate Edge?

#429 Post by N1095A »

So I 've been checking the guide on my direct tv and I kept seeing Tom Selleck's Ultimate Edge. I checked it out, and it is an infomercial for Tony Robbins. I have yet to see Tom Selleck in it, but that's what the title says. I wonder what's going on.

This is a really great website. I have never had the pleasure to meet Mr. Selleck, but he seems like a really nice person. I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him. Has anyone met him or just saw him? He seems to interact with his fans very well.

Have you ever seen the interview with Mr. Selleck and Rosie O'Donnell on her show back in the 1999?

I thought he handled the ambush quite well. He was supposed to be asked about the movie he was plugging.

I remember that interview SelleckLover. I think he did handle himself well and Rosie O'Donnell came across as, well, Rosie O'Donnell. I don't know of too many people that care for that woman!

I don't have TV so didn't see the interview but the sense I got from hearing about it was that her "ambush"...and, from what I heard, that's a correct word, SelleckLover...was basically a turning point in her career...her FORMER career, that is. Seems to me that her show was cancelled soon after and the word I got was that she didn't get along with ANYONE on The View.

I think people decided that if she couldn't be trusted to be civil to a guy as nice as Tom Selleck, they weren't going to risk being on her show. TS may not have been as visible as some actors over the years but I believe he's well thought of by his peers.

Agatha....Here is the link to the Wiki-Pedia entry about Rosie, gun control and the infamous Tom Selleck "ambush interview"........

http://tinyurl.com/qsxh98

I didn't realise that it was a month after the Columbine incident, but still it opened up America's eyes that the "Queen of Nice" may not be so sweet after all. Personally, I feel that if she felt that strong about Coumbine she should have questioned why there were hundred upon hundreds of Law Enforcement personnel standing around outside the school doing nothing, AND, tackling parents rushing the doors the get in to do something. Instead she chose to go after the Second Ammendment and it's suporters.
