What is your opinion of NCIS?

#1 Post by Frodoleader »

What does everyone think of NCIS? I have to admit I no longer watch that show. Essentially I cannot stand the characters. They just don't do it for me. Especially the DiNuzo/DiNozo (whatever is his name).

I still catch an episode every now and then. I've liked Mark Harmon as an actor ever since his days on 240 Robert, and that's going back a looong time. I do like the frequent references to Magnum PI on the show. I think it's a clever Bellisario tribute to his earlier work. It seams DiNozzo has an unusual infatuation with Magnum. Unfortunately this kills the possibility of TM ever appearing on the show, which is a shame because a storyline involving TM would be perfect.

I tried, but gave up after a few episodes. Never really knew why, but maybe only cause I was annoyed they aired them mixed up here.

Carmen:
It took me a while to get into NCIS...I had to force myself to watch it, but it sort of grew on me after a while. My son likes to watch it because he likes the Gothic crime lab scientist girl on it. So I just kind of started watching it because of that. It is a good show...it moves rather quickly and sometimes leaves me behind, but I have my son to explain it to me later!!! LOL

I just started watching NCIS this past year. I like it. Looks like CBS may do a spinoff. This was in Entertainment Weekly........

In a move that will surprise only the brainless, NCIS' odds-defying ratings surge this season has prompted CBS to quietly begin developing a spin-off, sources confirm to me exclusively. Although a spokesperson for the hit procedural declined to comment, my industry moles reveal that a new crop of naval sleuths will likely be introduced in an episode of NCIS later this season and launched into their own show as early as next fall.

That's exactly the same way NCIS was introduced as a spinoff from JAG. I like the show much better than I liked JAG, although all it really is, is another CSI clone.

By the way, anyone notice that Dr. Mallard (Ducky) is Higgins? He's an older Englishman who often rattles on in long stories about his past that are marginally related to the topic at hand, often stopped short by another character.

I like the show, never miss it. My dad who passed last year loved the show too, but he hated DiNozo with a passion. My wife loves the show too, but she preferred Kate to Ziva.

I recently got hooked on NCIS. Now I'm a fan of almost every Bellisario series!

Did anyone catch the NCIS: Legend episodes?

It looks like it has nice potential, but I was hoping it would be set in Hawaii. :)

I can truthfully say that I have never seen an episode... I generally like Bellasario's work but I have not tried this show.
Who's Dot Matrix, and what has she got to do with this?

You can watch a few episodes of NCIS here: http://www.hulu.com/videos/search?query=NCIS

They also air it often on USA Network.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz......NCIS is not for me. I can't stand modern TV. The only new shows I watch are The Office, Modern Family, and Community.
