Which episodes would you like to see revisited in 2008?
Let's imagine that Universal decided to do a TV MPI reunion mini-series. Three 2-hour episodes would be filmed with original characters using the estate in Hawaii.
Universal decided that three original MPI episodes would be revisited and loose ends would be tied up and totally resolved.
Which three episodes would you want to see revisited and resolved? The sky is the limit. There are no incorrect answers. Have fun...

1. Death and Taxes. It was great but could have had more character delvelopment and more backstory.
2. Going Home. Just because it is one of my favorites and I would have like it to go on longer.
3. Resolutions 2. It had too many holes when compressed into an hour.

Higgins: You've washed the car?! How extraordinary. Why would you do such a thing?

Echos of the Mind 2: I'd like to see TM deal with the grief a little more. I know another episode he was drunk on the beach, but I think they could dive into it a little more.
Not a particular episode, but I'd like to see something else with Dana Delaney where they maybe show a little more of the relationship and what went wrong.
Resolutions 2: I'd love to see all of the holes filled in for us.

For me it's not so much a spacific episode, but I was always intrested in Higgins' background. We heard so many stories, and even had a few flashbacks over the years, but I would have liked to have seen more Higgins-centric episodes that revealed more of his past through flashbacks or complete stories.
"But Higgins, I can explain."
I know I'm guilty of it too.....longing for the characters of old........but 20 years has passed and quite frankly I am now believing that we the fans would be disappointed. It was one thing to see the 3 guys playing poker on 'Vegas'..........but to reprise their characters.........at their respective ages..........it's a different show entirely..........one that I'm not sure would be well received. I don't know that I want to see a 70 year old TC playing shuffleboard...........or Higgins wearing Depends. The action element would be largely gone and that was part of the charm.
I can see them maybe selling the idea of Selleck being active in some capacity......but not the entire cast.
If they could ever find young look a likes.......the movie could be a prequel and sequel...........with the tv series as the middle. Show us in the movie how it came about and bring us to the present to see how they are doing........using the originals.

I take exception to the remark about Depends! Just because you're in your 70s, it doesn't make you a feeble old fool! My husband is the same age as TS and can do pretty much everything he did when we were first married 35 years ago. He lifts weights and is an armed guard. This Christmas his brother got those plastic push-up things that you put on the floor and then hold on to and do push-ups, and they twist to make the push-up easier. Brother couldn't even do 5 push-ups, with or without them and my husband who is 10 years OLDER than his brother did 20 push-ups on the floor and clapped his hands together in the middle of each one. (Yeah, he was showing off!) My son who is 33 y.o. beat them all and did 50!
Heck, my own father learned how to windsurf when he was 73! Had his own wind surfing board and a Chrysler LeBaron convertible to transport it down to the beach! That was one of his favorite things to do! JMHO!

can I get some of what your family has been eating over the years? I can only hope to be in that good of shape when that time comes.....No offense meant by the comment.SelleckLover wrote:I take exception to the remark about Depends! I was thinking Did You See The Sunrise to see if Magnum shot Ivan or not, but why change a briliant ending, so.........
I am going to go with J. Digger Doyle just because...well you know......
Make no mistake about it, TM shot and killed Ivan....
