Part II of A Novel Connection

#1 Post by Jodykmg365 »

Has anyone seen the Murder She Wrote episode that was supposed to be like part II of Novel Connection? If so, can you tell me what the name of the episode is, what it is about and post any screen caps if you have them.

I would love to see it, but I don't normally watch Murder She Wrote.

It's called Magnum on Ice, Season 4 of Murder She Wrote. The episode is included on the Season 7 MPI DVD, under the same title.

My daughter has the MSW DVDs and can send some screen shots. Let me know what you are interested in and I'll ask her for the favor :)

That was lame...I have season 7 of MPI. I can post the screen shots
Higgins: You've washed the car?! How extraordinary. Why would you do such a thing?

I believe it is an extra on one of the Season sets. If you have Netflix you could probably rent it there.

I guess I will have to break down and get Netflix.

As for the screen shots, I would like to see anything with Magnum, but don't go to any trouble.

I would really love to see this because I really enjoyed Novel Connection so much. Pamela was a pain, but I liked her.

I take it back, it's DECENT, but only because of the "Karate Chop of Doom".

I just realized that I take my Avatar from an episode I really don't even like and ISN'T EVEN A MAGNUM EPISODE!

Its almost blasphemous!

Thanks James for the screen caps.

You've got to love Higgins, for a little man he sure has spunk. I laugh every time I watch Never again, Never again and see him roll over the wall.

As for Pamela, I think the reason I like her is that she is just so high strung. It makes her kind of funny..."the killer could have been in that chopper."

BTW, which episode shows Higgins on the lawn practicing the Karate move...or whatever martial art form it is.....that is shown in the opening credits?

Tai Chi. And I think it was China Doll or some VERY early episode.

Thanks, I will look for it the next time China Doll comes on. I also want to see Magnum held hostage by Higgins with the toy cannon. That was pretty funny.

The MSW version of the MPI crossover was like nails on a chalkboard. What a whiny, snivelling bunch of old bats! MPI should never have agreed to cross with MSW. There was no fit!

What was the significance of Jessica Fletcher commenting on Amy's ring and then Amy saying it wasn't real? I never understood why that was put into the story line.

Also, was Jason Bryant in on the plot to kill Joan?
