When I was much younger I actually remember liking Fig Newtons. Wasn't my favorite but I remember eating them. But today I honestly wouldn't even be able to finish one. Just don't care for the taste anymore.

I agree -- I like Fig Newmans and the Whole Foods derivatives much better than actual Fig Newtons. But I still eat the original. :magnum:

I've put on 25 lbs of stress (and stress eating) since hurricane Dorian and Covid.

I gotta ditch the Magnum junk food and stick to

Tabasco, flat beer (alcohol free 'cause I don't drink anymore), tomato juice and 3 raw eggs blended at low speed for 10 seconds.
Knocking my rubber chicken or my sloppy habits is within the rules, but you're attacking my character. I would like to think you don't mean that.

Lol. Yeah, you can't do the Magnum diet unless you're also out on the surf ski and swimming in the tidal pool every day. Coops, macho tacos, hot dogs and fig newtons is a recipe for an exploding waist line.

Excellent! I have two packages on my desk -- well, 1.5 if you count only the uneaten cookies. :)

I don't even know the difference between the two. I'm not sure now which ones I used to eat. Always assumed it was Fig Newtons.

I'm sure it was. Fig Newmans are "Newman's Own" brand, and I know Whole Foods has a store brand. Both of those taste better than today's Fig Newtons.
