The New King Kamehameha Club

#1 Post by Hawaii Winds »

I've watched the reboot of this show...just for scenery and the facts from the old show. I've watched all 10 episodes and they still have not shown the King Kamehameha club....why?

Too ‘elitist’ for CBS?
Knocking my rubber chicken or my sloppy habits is within the rules, but you're attacking my character. I would like to think you don't mean that.

I just don't see them fitting in the Club the way the original did. I don't see this Higgins as part of the Board to mix in with Rick and TM. This TM has not shown quite the financial irresponsibility by running a tab or the use of the club as his office and answering service. I also note that the new TM doesn't show the athleticism of the original TM. There is no emphasis on swimming, paddling, jogging or volleyball so far. The Club was used for some of those activities as well. It is early yet but so far the new version is missing quite of few of the nuances that made the original so good.
