Well, I've just finished re-watching and reviewing the second season this evening, so it seems like a good time to ressurect this old thread and give my top five favourites.
1. MEMORIES ARE FOREVER
Arguably the show's best, and most powerful, feature-length / two-part offering. I think I was too young to really appreciate it when I first saw it, but nowadays I love it!
2. TROPICAL MADNESS
Perfect timing for this comedy, coming after the serious 'Memories Are Forever'. Some great moments in this one.
3. THE WOMAN ON THE BEACH
A nice ghost story, including Magnum's first encounter with the supernatual.
4. THE ELMO ZILLER STORY
Yes it's very silly, but if not taken seriously it is a great comedy episode.
5. ITALIAN ICE / TEXAS LIGHTNING
I'm really tied on fifth place; both of these eps qualify and change ranking often. Both have very good bits.
My least favourite of the season would have to be 'The Sixth Position', although 'Double Jeopardy', which should have been a great ep, also scores low on my card.
And I'm surprised 'Three Minus Two' has as many votes as it does, as I didn't care for it much at all.

That's strange, because 'The Sixth Position' and 'Ghost Writer' are two of my least favourite stories of the season, and 'Mad Buck Gibson' and 'Computer Date' are so-so IMO.DanielFrazão wrote:-Mad Buck Gibson

PS: Buck Gibson reminds me a lot of Hemingway!!
But that's part of the charm of the series - different stories to suit different tastes.
