Thanks for the information, guys!! I'm going through season one again and have just one more to go before Beauty Knows No Pain.

The real order is swim/bike/run. I don't know if my daughter is joking or not when she tells me the competition is arranged that way to minimize "accidents". Something about not wanting exhausted people drowning or falling off their bikes..... Running is last because the "worst thing that can happen" is simply stopping.  I only watch her.
Higgins: You've washed the car?! How extraordinary. Why would you do such a thing?

MPS that makes sense about the order due to injury. Also, I think Magnum would've been a good triathelete, but the Ironman is out of the question.

Ok, he runs 8 miles a day. Great but that does not qualify someone as a triathlete. Somewhere in the background dialogue during the race, someone says "he has a chance to win this thing" . Give me a break. Triathletes train for years not days. I know we have to suspend disbelief but this is a little strange from me...
Magnum's strongest event is supposed to be the swim. Watch as Magnum gets out of the water, you will see this squat-heavy woman (no offense intended) lumber out of the water ahead of Magnum, and Higgins notices this and says "this is your best event?" Magnum gives Higgins an exasperated look :x. It is hilarious.
The answer is obvious, old man. Logic is irrelevant. It's simply Tropical Madness. (J.Q. Higgins)
