The infomercial is selling a series of motivational CDs by Tony Robbins. Mr. Robbins is a motivational speaker who was big in the 1990's and had the air waves saturated with his "brand". He kind of dropped off the radar for a while because of over-exposure and now he's b-a-a-a-ck!

This guy should have plenty of money, really. What the heck is going on?

I was surprised he did the infomercial...but yet I didn't find it distasteful either. I think when TS becomes involved in projects it adds a bit of class or credibility to it. Although honestly if I were in his position I probably wouldn't have done it. But then again he probably made a boatload of money. Maybe he's thinking of retiring? God I hope not!

I actually like his OJ and RV voice overs. I love his voice and think it's one of the best in the business. But I think I know where you're coming from. He's such a wonderful actor that I don't want to see his talents wasted in any way. Sometimes I see movies in the theatre or characters on television and I think wow... TS would be perfect for that. In my perfect world, this man needs to be working everyday and not just on voice overs and certainly not on infomercials.

I agree with Layne. I, too, haven't found anything that he has done since Magnum at all distasteful, with the exception of that TV movie that he played King Ferdinand in...can't remember the name of it. If I had the ability to make boatloads of money with just my looks and reputation, I'd do it until my face looked like a Sharpei puppy and they had to prop me up in front of a camera, and it wouldn't matter how much money I already had! But then, that's just me...
