Don't let your Dad get you down, Jeffrey! I, too, had some problems with the Jesse Stone movies at first. I loved seeing Tom again and the plots were interesting but still.... I finally figured out that I was worrying that Tom Selleck was actually as troubled as Jesse Stone these days. Once I got past that then I was able to enjoy all the characters and how they weave into the stories...like a tapestry...until you have the same familiarity with them that you felt in the Magnum series. And you can't SEE that if you only watch the last 5 minutes!!


Isn't the ocean beautiful at sunset? So soft....so peaceful...so romantic!

I have to agree on everything you say. At first I also needed to get to know the characters before I really started to like it.
