From Peter Lenkov Instagram Story. I think in this photo Magnum, Rick, and T.C. are POWs in Iraq together.

The title of the pilot episode is "I Saw The Sun Rise":

Oh boy, with that title I definitely can sense an Ivan type villain, plus there was mention of a Nuzo character which also fits. Assuming that is the team in the cells/cages also ties into the old story line where they were dangling in cages out in the jungle with Ivan lurking in the darkness.

Thanks Core 4!

OK, this time I really did find T.C. Today I saw that Steelo is still in L.A. so I started my investigation again :luther:

T.C. is being played by Stephen Hill. He looks familiar to so many of us because he has been in many shows, including a small part on Blue Bloods. Here he is getting his beard on for the POW scene for the pilot:

Great sleuth work there, RG! That certainly looks like the same guy in the group cast pic! Luther and Tanaka would be proud! :)

I'm like what I'm seeing so far from the reboot: the attention to details, the references to characters and episodes from the original show, the casting decisions (for the most part). It shows that the people involved in this really are fans of the original show! It gives me encouragement! And I really like how they are starting off with a "Did You See the Sunrise?" episode! LOVE the clever renaming of it to "I Saw the Sun Rise"! :)

Edit: Sorry, I didn't see that the same pic I posted was in a different thread. I've removed it.
Higgins: It's not a scratch! It's a bloody gouge!

Yep, RG you and the others are amazing and getting me excited to log on and get more info every day. I don't know this actor but like you said, he has been in Blue Bloods, Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Draft Day. three of my favorites. I can add that he seems to be staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village which makes sense as they are one of the underwriting sponsors of Hawaii Five-0. My wife, son and I stayed in The Rainbow Tower on our visit on 2007. I am betting the bar (well bars as there are many) are fun at night.

Hi Steve,

Based on the pic of Stephen's balcony selfie I would say he is staying at The Modern Honolulu which was once known as the Yacht Harbor Tower of the Ilikai Hotel. That tower was sold off by the owner at the time, Brian Anderson who was in financial difficulty. You can make out the HHV lagoon, Ala Wai Boat Harbor and Holomoana St. down below, plus the curved balconies we can see in the top right points to The Modern. I agree with your bar comment, I bet the pre-production parties were excellent, but I'm guessing they will be working loooong hours going forward to make this reboot work, so it might be only a quick nightcap until they actually get picked up.

Yes. Finally, we found out who will play T.C. He is similar to the actor from the photo in the restaurant. What about his filmography. He usually played one episode roles, but a few clips that I saw looked encouragingly, he's a good actor. Now we have to wait for the official confirmation of the casting.

PS. Now actor posted photo at Hawaii Film Studio, another sign that he will play T.C.

New information..... I believe this will be the new Robin's Nest. The MPI "base camp" was nearby. Of course not confirmed, it could just be a filming location, but take a look... :luther:

Gorgeous. List price, 26 million! If it is true, I bet the realtors will be thrilled having a film crew there tearing things up. Whatever fee they are paying could have gone to fixing up the "OG" Estate...........

I appreciate the effort RG, but I hope this info is wrong. Even at $26 million it doesn't do it for me as the new nest....don't get me wrong, it's a nice property, but it's just not the same as our beloved Pahonu. I wonder if Eve told Marty he is nuts to even think about having MPI in again and he agreed or Lenkov had a walk around Pahonu and decided he wanted a new fresh identity for Robin's Nest, just like bringing in the 488 Ferrari. This property is just 2.5 acres so a bit smaller than Pahonu.....hmmm, I wonder if this estate will be on 200 acres and located somewhere on the North Shore like the original. Fingers crossed it's just a filming location! Assuming this place is the new nest, I could still see Lenkov trying to film at Pahonu for at least one episode (maybe as someone else's home etc.) as it would win points with any true MPI fan. I wonder what the neighbors are thinking??? :D
Time will tell!

I just found another video of this estate - Hale Makai

Thanks so much JJ, Kenji & Steve for the kudos :D .... I'm glad others are enjoying what I've discovered. :luther: What I keep wondering is why haven't they announced Stephen Hill yet? TC is as much of a key player as Rick/Zachary Knighton (imo), but things may be different this time around? He's obviously on board so I don't understand the delay. Strange.

Not strange, in other TV series they also have not yet announced the full cast. In a few days they will definitely announce. We have to wait.
