Yep, just finished it.
Excellent episode from opening scene until final words “it’s my turn”.
Again: Harold Gould shines.
Only one man has ever threatened me. If you have time I’ll take you to where he’s buried. Awesome.
Turning the tables and stalking the assassin was great. Love that stuff.
Next up Monday but I might watch it tomorrow.
P.S. I saw reference to FOUR Vachon episodes. Please enlighten.

Excellent episode.
Many great details about the set-up from the beginning. Amazing they fit so much into an episode.
Surprising ending (a bit rushed though).![]()
Didn't see it going down that way.
Wow. You were right over-all about the 3-parter. Instantly re-watchable.
P.S. I liked 3 as much as 2.

As I recall "Bored She Hung Herself" was circulating on YouTube some time ago (really crappy quality!!) but I don't see it anymore. Don't worry - you're not missing much. I had a hard time getting through it - partially because of the crappy video and audio quality and partially because the story sucks. I don't even consider it part of Five-O canon. For me it doesn't exist. Believe it or not when the season 2 DVD sets started coming out there were people who refused to purchase them because of the omission of this one episode. They said it was an incomplete release. To me that's ridiculous. Most of us never even knew about this episode. It was never shown in reruns. Unless you caught this episode back in 1970 during its original run, you never ever saw it. You never knew about it. It's as if it never existed. Until the internet came around and we found out about some "lost" or "banned" episode. But am I really going to boycott an entire season of great episodes because of the omission of one crappy one???? One that for all intents and purposes doesn't exist and hasn't existed since that one single airing back in 1970? Nope!!jno wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 4:53 pm I'm currently working my way through original H-50 (having seen all the reboot). I watched this as a kid in the 80s.
Currently up to Season 3, Ep16 'Ten Thousand Diamonds and a Heart' - I have to say, I am enjoying these and they are a very good watch.
I have still been unable to track down any version out there of 'Bored She Hung Herself' over the years and am still hoping for the day that someone out there has it.

The unreleased 90s film would have been a nice addition as a DVD extra somewhere though.
Enough with school boy tricks, T.Q. In Soviet Russia numbers become what KGB want them to become. KGB can make 2+2=horse, like your Chuck Norris.T.Q. wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 1:22 pmThis is mathematically impossible Ivan.IvanTheTerrible wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 6:41 pm

Didn't they teach you that in Russian Military/Spy school?
Or is this the new (2 + 2 = 5) math they're teaching in the West these days?![]()
Gotta agree with you on this one. I actually didn't think this one had a reputation as being "weak" (on IMDB or elsewhere, plus I think Mike Quigley gives it a good rating on his site) and I know some who like it quite a bit. But on past rewatches I noticed that it doesn't engage all that much. Even Danno defusing the bombs at the end wasn't as tense as it should have been. I liked the opening where we don't know what's going on with all these bombs being set - until McGarrett says "Boom" and we realize it was all a drill to see how easy it would be to smuggle the bombs into the courthouse. The whole story revolves around some Hawaiian nationalists who are extremists and use vigilante tactics against whites to bring attention to their plight of "purifying" the Hawaiian islands. Those 7 extremists are now in jail but one of their sympathizers has planted some bombs in the basement of the courthouse to force the release of those 7 extremists. I'm surprised you missed an obvious MPI connection. This sympathizer who planted the bombs is played by Manu Tupou (Charlie from "King Kam Club Curse", remember?) -- he's actually the other problem with this episode. He's a very weak villain. We know he's a Hawaiian nationalist and apparently he's good with explosives. But other than that he's a very nondescript character. Very bland.T.Q. wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 7:50 pm The Clock Struck Twelve
First word I thought of was weak.
Went to IMDB and first review was ‘weak’. Lol
Was actually pretty confusing. Didn’t know what the heck was going on. But I’m slow remember?![]()
Last 2 minutes were cool. McGarrett with an M-16 was bada**.
MPI: A Hawaiian lady at desk at the protest in the beginning (I think). Couldn’t find her in the credits.
Wow. Anyway, if you liked the Lewis Avery Filer episodes... I think you'll like the next one!![]()
