Magnum marathon today

#1 Post by eagle »

Hi, all.

Today at the Eagle's Nest, I have a Magnum marathon going. I'm not interested in watching the news related to the current inauguration, so I started a Magnum marathon this morning, and have had it playing in the background as I work.

I tell you, I really, really like this show. It's certainly much better than the live show.

That's kinda what Flemingo Key has been like this whole pandemic . . . at some times Thomas and the gang were on in the background almost 10 hours per day!

This paraphrasing will probably insult a lot of music fans but . . .

When I find myself in times of trouble
Thomas Magnum comes to me
Whispers words of wisdom
"work the lock"

Oh, that’s bad... and good!

Not today actually, but I’ve flipped to the show on the Hallmark Channel so many times in these pandemic months. :magnum:

So I used that day as a starting point to launch another run through the series, and at this point I am way ahead of the 40-year broadcast dates: Today I watched "Thicker Than Blood," "All Roads Lead To Floyd," and "Adelaide." I skipped ahead yesterday while spending some time with my oldest (13 year old son), and we watched "J. Digger Doyle," one of my favorite episodes.

I tell ya, there are some excellent episodes in season 1.

I'm also reminded that I really, truly love this series.
