Well it might be kind of silly to start a thread of something like that. But even though i have all the episodes taped on VHS and have it all on DVD i still think it something special to see it live so to speak
Something tells me that it will start over again on that same tv channel very soon with the pilot. I think it might be back next week actually. Well i hope so, and i will never get tired of it. And the contrast of that last season and the first is just amazing, and yet you can feel the red thread. That it is probably why i love it s much. The 8 season was very well made, but i really dig the older gritty style from the start aswell. And that opening seen, just quiet and Magnum coming up in the tidal pool. Epic! Cheers from Sweden guys

Well i see that this tv channel is broadcasting Magnum PI with two episodes tomorrow. Can´t see what episodes yet but i am sure it is "Don´t eat the snow in Hawaii". Good times, another run of the entire show.

Great pilot! By far the best episode from season 1. Notice how the best episodes on MPI are the 2-part/2-hour episodes? "Memories are Forever" is my favorite from season 2 and "Did You See the Sun Rise?" is my favorite from season 3.

I make note to tune in for the better episodes. I watched some of Three Minus Two today and ended up drifting into other things. That episode has never been one of my favorites.

Yeah same here. But most of us fans seems to love those 2 hour episodes. They were really special.
Just watched China doll. Always liked that one aswell. I really dig the 70´s vibe of the first season. Thank heaven for little girls and big ones too now. A weaker episode yes.

In these times when the reboot just has aired in the US (which i won´t watch when it will be aired here) it feels great to continue watching the real deal. So here we are with "Memories are foverer". After just two weeks with two episodes every weekday.
Probably my favourite episode of the eight seasons. I almost fell into tears when Michelle turned up in the beginning even though i have seen this so many times before.

I prefer to watch these two hour episodes on the dvd though. This is broken up into two parts. Works better as a two hour movie.
