Not sure if it's the same episode where he goes "undercover" as an exterminator or not, but I do remember the scene.
He shows up at the house of somebody he's investigating to find the wife just arriving home from the grocery store.
He gives the spiel about being an exterminator, but gets turned down, then offers to help carry in the groceries and ends up getting to provide the bug service anyway.
He is spraying under the kitchen sink and trying to overhear the phone conversation of the wife, where she jots down a phone number that he believes could be useful, but the kids run through the room making too much noise, so after she (the wife) leaves the room, he quickly rifles through her purse where she has put the number she wrote down on a scrap of paper.
Would have to watch the episode to verify, but as I recall, he wore the mask when visiting Rick's place to startle Rick when he answered the door.
Guess we'll have to re-watch the entire series again to find out for sure!
