Thankyou, awesome pictures!
Magnum: So far this case had cost me my right to the wine cellar, the last cash in my pocket, and nearly my life. If that clerk was lying to me, I was gonna come back down here and shove that Robin Masters paperback in his ear!

When Larry and I were in St. Thomas a couple of months ago, I tried to get him to hold me like that and ask a tourist on the beach to film us with our video camera -- and HE WOULDN'T DO IT (Larry, not the tourist)! Can you imagine??? Of course, we weren't in the tidal pool . . . but it was the ocean and we had snorkel gear. But I just asked him, right now, tonight, and he said he WOULD do it if we were actually AT the tidal pool.

I'm "little" enough but I don't have much of a keester (both Larry and I are the "buttless wonders." How two people with such flat butts ever found each other . . . . but we both have GREAT legs!!)

Or is James going to censor this and say I'm telling more than anyone really wants to know????

AND, Steve, I think if I saw some other tourist there at the tidal pool and HE was wearing the parrot shirt, I would think I'd found another "soulmate" Magnum fan! And it would make me much more willing to approach him and share and laugh with him/her/them. I have shirts for Larry but he won't wear them, but I also have a "blouse" in the fabric for myself, and if I ever get there, I'll certainly wear it. Now how much fun would it be to see a male and a female both in the parrot shirts? If you all ever get there and see a guy who looks like Lewis Grizzard and a little blonde and both are wearing parrot shirts -- ask them if they're golfmobile!!

The funny thing is, Golf, is that my wife and I were married on a beach in St. Thomas in 1992. I even was able to get away with wearing a white tux with a tropical parrot themed bow tie and cumberbund. I guess as time passes on, she just doesn't seem to appreciate my creativeness or what she calls silliness. I promise you this, however, if we ever go back, I will wear one of the parrot shirts and I will be doing various Magnum, PI poses. Hopefully someday we can all get together out there and do it together.

Steve,

Hey, we got married in 1992 also! However, it was in December and we went skiing in Banff/Lake Louise for our honeymoon -- about as far from a honeymoon in Hawaii as you can get! However, Larry, though not a big MPI fan by himself, is very tolerant of my "silliness" and contributes to MGI ideas and allows me all my Island Hopper helicopter obsessions (and happily watches all the episodes I've TiVo'ed because he never saw them or doesn't remember them) -- what other spouse would allow a 4-foot helicopter painted like IH to be prominently on display in the living room?

(of course, we never have company . . . . I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to explain it to my parents the next time they visit. I know! I'll blame it on Larry! I'll say he knew what a great Magnum PI fan I am so he gave it to me, so I had to display it, right?)   :D

You've got to flaunt (i.e. represent) your Magnum fandom whenever someone comes into your house.

I have my Magnum Season 1-7 DVDs sitting in plain sight on my DVD rack, and when someone asks me why I have so many Magnum DVDs, I reply:

"Why wouldn't I?"
