Anyone up for MPI trivia?

OK, got one!
As we know, in the Magnum-verse, TC does not drink.
However, before the show got into its groove, TC was known to put back some of the booze.
That being said, what is the FINAL episode in which we see TC be in the presence of alcohol with the (assumed) intent of consuming it?
This may or may not be easy.
HINT 1: It is not "Wave Goodbye" where he orders a Scotch on the rocks, but doesn't drink it.
HINT 2: It is before "Wave Goodbye"
(That being said, I wonder why they wrote that in as a trait of TC? Did R.E.M. not drink in real life?)

That was the scene in his office when it was raining, and he was on the phone with TM? That scene came to mind right away when I saw the question, but I don't think it's right since that scene was from " Don't Eat The Snow in Hawaii".Lt Tanaka wrote:The opening had him with a beer bottle for several seasons.Doc Ibold wrote:However, before the show got into its groove, TC was known to put back some of the booze.
"But Higgins, I can explain."

I wondered that myself since he was a drinker when the series started. I have a copy of the script for "Don't Eat The Snow In Hawaii" and it also has TC as a cigarette smoker too. The scene that we see in the pilot episode of TC sitting at his desk talking to Magnum on the phone while drinking a beer, is actually a "tumbler of Wild Turkey" in the script.Doc Ibold wrote:That being said, I wonder why they wrote that in as a trait of TC? My guess as to why TC turned "teetotaler" is due to his felony conviction for smuggling in "Thicker Than Blood." Although the specific conditions of TC's 5 year probation are never discussed, it may have been a condition of his probation.
As far as the trivia question, I think it was "Mad Buck Gibson" who bought TC and Rick a round of "Bazookas." Magnum had a beer in a longneck, of course. War injury, he said.
The answer is obvious, old man. Logic is irrelevant. It's simply Tropical Madness. (J.Q. Higgins)
Know what IH, from my less than stellar hints, I'll give this one to you since you would have gotten it (and this scene slipped my mind).IslandHopper wrote:I wondered that myself since he was a drinker when the series started. My ORIGINAL thought was the scene in "From Moscow to Maui" when Magnum buys TC and Rick "lunch" and has them over at the estate to eat it.
Next to the two styrofoam containers, there are 2 beer bottles (Coops), yet Magnum does not appear to be eating, and one of the bottles is RIGHT next to TC.

Well, to atone for that crappy question, I'll pose an easier one.
Gillian Dobb had appeared in several Magnum episodes as Agatha Chumley (and several other characters). Name the Magnum episode she first appeared in, and the name of the character she played.
Hint: Neither James' excellent episode writeups nor IMDB will help you out with the 2nd part of the question. Only Higgins knows the answer

Thanks Doc. Here goes.
While in the study chatting with Magnum, Higgins reveals the name of a street he likes to visit while in London to have tea. What is the name of the street Higgins refers to, and the name of the episode this reference is from?
