1987 Print Media - Television; Tom Selleck Stalks His Future

Hey James,
I think this is a new one to add to the Print Media Section. It's a N.Y. Times 3 pager from 1987!
I can't believe one of the writers wanted Magnum to be a gigolo in an episode....thank goodness Tom vetoed it!!

Thanks, Kenji!
It's good to be reminded of the considerable effort Selleck must have put in behind the scenes once he took the producing on as well.
I didn't know he invested his money in real estate development- it makes sense.

You're welcome Danno!
Glad you found it as interesting as I did.
Like you said it makes sense that he is invested in real estate!
I hope the latest crash didn't hurt him too much.

Thanks for the article! Good read.

Glad to see I'm on the same page with Tom about "Runaway", I really liked that movie, and "Innocent Man", which was yet to be made at that point.

I'm surprised that the, ahem, "New Yawk Times", got Jillie's name wrong though. :?
