Hi Kenji..Pahonu is saying the green arrow window faces the ocean on the outer wall and the double doors are to the right of that window.

The two other windows face the shriners club.

I'm not sure what other view of the boat house it could be. The south wall, toward the road, has only one window on the lower level. The east wall has the single door to the lower level with a window near it, but the other window is far away separated by the steps up to the lanai. The north wall, as shown in the picture, has the double doors with a window on either side. The only other possibility is it's not from the boat house, but that seems far less likely. Forshortening is an optical illusion caused by some camera lenses in which the depth of field is compressed unnaturally. This could explain it, perhaps.

The sloped roof is separate from the ceiling inside. The red line you drew is the ceiling height, and it extends all the way across and those joists also forms the floor of the lanai and interior room. Notice how the top of the rafters reaches near the top of the low wall surrounding the lanai. Most rooms' ceilings are flat and don't reflect the roof's slope. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah. I understand about the distances looking off. I can see it myself, but which other wall could it be? None of the other three walls even have the right number of windows or doors to match this angle. I just went into my model and positioned it to look like the photo, and it looks reasonably close. none of the other angles work.

I'm in agreement that the two windows are on the Shriner side..BUT they are under the lanai..If you look at the pic again with the red and green arrow..it would seem that the joists would have more of a pitch..it looks horizontal. I believe the green window is ocean side but not on the outer wall..

Also in the photo is the electrical junction box..would they run it all the way out past the main structure? I don't know..Just asking

So you are saying it's an interior wall with a window? I guess it's possible. It just seems a bit unusual.

The electrical box is almost certainly a subpanel. The main panel is probably in the service wing of the main house with sub panels to all the outbuildings. Very common practice. My father is a retired electrician, and he installed a subpanel to the workshop he built behind his garage to power all his tools. We dug a trench to get a line from the main panel at his house to the sub in the workshop where it distributed from there.

Unfortunately I have to go off line now. Maybe we can figure it out later. Enjoy the model!

What I'm thinking is that part of the boathouse not under the main building was added later.That would make that window possible.If you remember that photo of Mcgarrett exiting the building the wall to the right appears to be concrete.

Plus they wouldn't leave the surfski that close to an outer door Waiting for eeyore and Steve to reply..they are the architects

The land difference of 3 acres instead of 200 acres was a given.....what I was talking about was the main house size. I agree with you that it is a very nice size home....not small at all, but when you try and factor in all the rooms that we have either seen or heard of on the show I feel you couldn't fit it under Pahonu's roof or layout just like the boathouse.....Hollywood at work.

Apparently it's behind the main house near the sea wall side. I think this would have to be one of the only structures we didn't see in the series, and one of the least filmed areas of the estate.

We all thought the basement was a blank canvass and a bit smaller....now it's 2,500 sq.ft. complete with a wine cellar! The dumbwaiter is a neat touch and appropriate for that time.
I love this place even more (if that is possible).
