Of course he doesn´t own it. We all know that.steveadl wrote:In my best Higgins voice..... "Oh.....my.....GOD!"

The reports are getting worse than the original TMZ. This site has lifted the original TMZ article, continued with its errors, and now is just blatantly fabricating its own facts! According to them Tom Selleck owns the estate, and should have no trouble selling it!
Jeez guy!
Robin Masters owns it. Tom lives in the guesthouse though. I am sure of that. He has to.

Onion´s extra?

The version I sent JJ was SketchUp 8. You need to have that version or later to read the file.Sam wrote:Still can't get the file to open.

When I open the sketchup program..hit the file..get the drop down..tick on sketchup Pahonu (1).skp
It comes up ...File is read only...when I tick ok... what should happen after that?...I'm standing there with a pencil in my hand

More info on Louis E. Davis, who was the architect.
Take a look at the gallery pictures at the bottom for some of the examples of his work.

Here is an interesting piece on Clifton Briggs Ripley, partner to Louis E. Davis until 1922 (pre-Pahonu).

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Pretty sure I have the version 8 or newer of SketchUp, but when I load the model, I'm not seeing the "button that looks like a pair of footprints". Can kind of use most the other tools for viewing, but it'd be nice to be able to go into the buildings, etc..Pahonu wrote:Depending on the version of SketchUp you have, use the button that looks like a pair of footprints to "walk" around the model. It's also possible to cut into the model, slicing it open like a cake to look at the floor plan or any section. That button is called "section plane".
Any tips on what I'm missing or doing wrong?
TIA

N/M....found it as an option under one of the main tools.

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
it should display the model as a read only file that you can look at but not alter. I actually don't go through the program. I just open the file directly, and if SketchUp is installed as it is on my computer, it opens up. I'm not sure what else to do.Sam wrote:When I open the sketchup program..hit the file..get the drop down..tick on sketchup Pahonu (1).skp
